Satyabadi School

Satyabadi School, also known as the Utkal Sammilani School, was a famous educational institution located in the Odisha region of India. It was established in the early 20th century by the Utkal Sammilani, a social and political reform organization that sought to promote education and social reform in the state.

The school was founded in 1906 in the town of Satyabadi, which is located in the Puri district of Odisha. It was founded with the goal of providing education to the people of the region, especially the lower castes and disadvantaged communities. The school was known for its progressive approach to education, and it was the first in the region to offer co-education and to admit students from all castes and religions.

The school quickly gained a reputation for excellence, and it attracted students from all over the region. It was also a center for social and political activism, and many of the leaders of the independence movement in India, including Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, visited the school and gave lectures to the students.

In present day, the Satyabadi School still exists and is located in the same town of Satyabadi in Puri district. It has continued to provide quality education to the students of the region and has maintained its reputation as a center of excellence.
